Presentation
Korilog's Blast Viewer is a freeware allowing you to graphically explore BLAST results. The software provides basic graphical hit table and pairwise sequence alignment viewers. Like KoriBlast, BlastViewer is capable of reading data files produced by the NCBI Blast (standard and PSI-Blast), the EBI BLAST (standard, WU-Blast and PSI-Blast) and EBI ScanPS facilities.
You can read this document to see the advantages of KoriBlast, our sequence databases exploration platform.
Download release 2.3
BlastViewer installation is quite easy. Just download the package
corresponding to your operating system, install the software and run it! More on the system requirements. Important notice for Mac users: some users have reported a problem when downloading the BlastViewer package with old Safari releases (1.x): the BlastViewer package seems to be corrupted, and the software is not working. This happens to be a known problem with the 1.x Safari navigator, and users should either use a recent Safari release (2.x) or an alternative Web browser such as FireFox. FAQs
