Genouest provides the scientific community with a Blast server running on a large scale cluster. This Blast server has been updated with a KoriViewer server-side module enabling data integration within Blast results at runtime. Now, this Blast server is producing fully annotated Blast results, i.e. hits are reported with valuable additional data: feature tables, functional classifications, taxonomy, databank cross-references, etc. Such Blast results are provided to researchers within a very convenient web-based tool, KoriViewer. The software contains a set of interactive graphical viewers (hit table, multiple sequence alignment, distance tree, taxonomy browser, feature table, etc.) and provides data export functions.
