|
Metabolic Pathway Builder developed by Genostar Bioinformatics, seamlessly integrates a suite of analytical methods and data for genomic, proteic and metabolic research, enabling users to perform comparative genomics, predict protein functions and enzymatic activity, and both explore and visualize metabolic pathways on multiple organisms of interest.
Metabolic Pathway Builder is composed of three modules: GenoAnnot, ProteoAnnot and PathwayExplorer:
- GenoAnnot and ProteoAnnot : Annotate and reannotate complete or partial genomic and proteic sequences with these modules. With this new version of GenoAnnot and ProteoAnnot, you can map and fully assemble contigs to obtain a complete sequence, transfer annotations between conserved DNA regions, and predict protein functions and pfam domains.
- PathwayExplorer : Perform comparative genomics and metabolomics analyses, and interactively explore and visualize metabolic pathways. You can predict and confirm EC numbers and regulation patterns between genes, compute homologies and syntenies, and identify and visualize specific, common and/or complementary pathways or sub-pathways between organisms. Import, read and analyze your proprietary data, data from MicroB and also data from EMBL and Swiss-Prot data files. Collect and share your results in exportable tables which give the links with the ECs, reactions and pathways.
The integration of Metabolic Pathway Builder and KoriBlast provides the biologists with a completely streamlined workflow from sequences up to metabolic pathways. This partnership brings researchers a world-class, user friendly solution for analysis of NGS-generated sequences and expression data from genome to metabolome.
