Admin rights: Special notice for Vista users. Starting with the new Vista system, Microsoft engineers have enforced the security, which is a good idea. As a consequence, the administrative rights associated to the main user account does not provide him/her with the complete set of rights of a real administrator. More precisely, if you are the only user on your Windows box, you can think that you have all the rights to do what you want on your computer... starting with Vista, this is not completely true. Some operations can be blocked by the new UAC system (User Account Control). Concerning KoriBlast, the UAC may prevent the installation of the KoriBlast License Certificate.

During the first start of KoriBlast, if you get a dialogue box saying that you are not the administrator, it means you will have to disable temporarily the UAC. By doing this, we ensure you that there is absolutely no security breach in your system if you follow this procedure:

Open the Windows Configuration Panel (Start Menu->Configuration Panel), and switch to the Classic View (on the left side of the Configuration panel, there is the option Classic View). Double click on the User Accounts icon, select Turn User Account Control on or off. This takes you to another window, where you simply untick the checkbox to disable UAC. Hit OK and then reboot.

After the reboot, start KoriBlast and install the License Certificate. Exit from KoriBlast, then enable again the UAC (see previous step) to restore the standard security policy of your Windows box.
