What to do if KoriBlast is running slow on Linux
When you start KoriBlast on a Linux server using a terminal window (X session through ssh -X, for example), the KoriBlast display can be quite slow. This happens to be a known problem of the Java graphics rendering engine.

To solve that problem, enter the directory where KoriBlast is installed (/usr/local/KoriBlast or /opt/KoriBlast), then edit the KoriBlast starter script, 'koriblast.sh'. Locate the JVM arguments line and add the following directive:
-Dsun.java2d.pmoffscreen=false
This problem concerns KoriBlast prior to release 2.3.
